Lodha Developers has announced an additional investment of INR 1 trillion ($10.9 billion) to build a 2.5GW data center park in Maharashtra, India.

The real estate company committed the funds in a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding signed by the managing director and CEO of Lodha Developers, Abhishek Lodha, and representatives from the Government of Maharashtra at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.

The announcement expands on its previous September 2025 agreement with the Government of Maharashtra to build a $3bn green integrated data center hub.

In a post on LinkedIn, Lodha said the data center park would be the largest in Asia and create nearly 16,000 jobs.

Amazon and STT Global Data Centers have already reportedly acquired land parcels at the site.

The real estate company said the agreement reflected “the scale of our ambition, the trust we command, and Lodha’s role in shaping India’s digital future.”
