Chinese power technology firm Kstar has released a new 600kW Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) for liquid cooling systems.

Part of the company’s LiquiX portfolio, the CDU is designed to address surging demand from high-density data centers.

The 600kW systems come in both rack-mounted and standalone options, which Kstar says enable scalable deployment across single-cabinet, row-level, and multi-row configurations. Operators can customize cooling strategies based on different workloads and infrastructure needs.

According to Kstar, the system features multiple protection technologies to create a “highly reliable fluid safety system” that eliminates “the risk of leakage caused by material corrosion.”

Founded in 1993 and based in Shenzhen, Kstar already offers a range of products for data centers, including UPS systems, battery storage, and air cooling units.

Its move into liquid cooling mirrors many of the vendors in the market, with cooling firms rushing to deliver products that can meet the cooling needs of AI data centers.

The likes of CoolIT and Boyd have debuted new CDUs in recent months, while Flex-owned JetCool announced a modular system last month. Schneider Electric brought out an updated range of liquid cooling solutions at the end of September.
