Future Publishing, a specialist media platform, has signed on for colocation services from Telehouse.
Future will deploy its IT infrastructure in the Telehouse South data center in London to support its ongoing growth.
Future will deploy ten racks in a private cage environment at the data center, which will support performance-critical workloads, and help strengthen the platform's operational resilience.
Future has been building out its space at the Telehouse site since the start of the year.
Harry Pyant, sales manager, Telehouse Europe, said: “Future Publishing needed a secure, resilient, and well-connected data center environment in London that could be delivered on time and support the business as it grows. Just as importantly, they wanted a partner they could work closely with and trust throughout the process. We are delighted to have been selected by Future Publishing and look forward to supporting the team as their requirements continue to evolve.”
John Davies, senior director of Infrastructure and Security, Future Publishing, said: “What stood out from the start was the quality of the relationship and the continuity of support. From our first conversations through to delivery, we worked with the same people, which made the whole process straightforward and efficient.
"Telehouse delivered on the timelines agreed, the site itself was highly impressive, and the team has been responsive and easy to work with throughout. For us, this gives us the resilience, connectivity, and flexibility we need across our London data center environment.”
Telehouse South is located in the company's London Docklands campus in Blackwell Yard. It opened in 2022, and spans 31,000 sqm (333,681 sq ft). Previously owned by Reuters, the data center has a total capacity of 18MW.
Future Publishing is behind a number of magazine publications, including TechRadar, PC Gamer, Tom's Guide, Tom's Hardware, and Marie Claire, among others. The company was founded in 1985 with the sole magazine, Amstrad Action.
