A former United Bank data center is up for sale in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The data center, located on 102 Bypass Plaza Drive in Franklin County, totals 20,300 sq ft (1,900 sqm) and is set on a 3.5-acre lot. The sale also includes a 0.8-acre lot adjacent to the data center, available for development, expansion, or resale.
The listing price has been set as $2.1 million.
Built in 1985, the single story offers four Liebert cooling systems, each capable of supporting an equipment load of 105kW, as well as one Powerware 9315 UPS with a 480V supply.
The offering also includes a generator with a 4.7V output current, a specialized fire suppression system, and raised floors in the majority of the building.
The former United Bank building also offers office space, although the sizes of the data center and office space have not been shared.
Lumen, previously known as CenturyLink, has three data centers based in Louisville, Kentucky. Flexential also has two data centers in Louisville and CyrusOne has one data center based in Florence, Kentucky.
Earlier this year, GE Appliances put up its data center for lease in Louisville, Kentucky.
Currently, United Bank operates around 140 branches spanning West Virginia, Virginia, Washington D.C, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
