A former data center turned photography studio is up for sale in Kansas City, Missouri.
Watford Property Co. is offering 2401 Holly Street for sale. The facility is available for $2.05 million.
Built in 2000, the single-story, 5,726-square-foot building was fully renovated in 2020.
A LoopNet listing from the company notes the site features 800 amp/480v/3-Phase power to the building from Evergy.
The studio was previously occupied by 8183 Productions, a commercial production company located in Kansas City.
Online listings from DataCenterCatalog and others suggest the site was previously operated by KC NAP, which provided colocation and interconnection services from the site. The facility was described by the company as ‘Kansas City’s first solar-powered data center’.
KC NAP was part of hosting company IceWeb Inc. (later UnifiedOnline! Inc). It was one of two facilities the company operated; KC NAP’s site went dark around 2016, according to WaybackMachine.
Wholesale Internet Inc. has also been previously listed as operating at the facility.
