Philippines-based telco Converge ICT Solutions has opened a 12MW data center in Angeles City, located in the province of Pampanga, north of Manila.

Converge said that the Converge Angeles Data Center would be “a scalable AI-ready facility” that would power Converge Cloud, the company’s sovereign cloud infrastructure offering.

This is Converge’s fourth data center, adding to its three existing data centers in Caloocan and Pasig – both of which are located near Manila – and Angeles.

Converge is a Filipino fiber and IT provider.

The company also operates the Davao International Cable Landing Station, a CLS for the Bifrost subsea cable in the Philippines, as well as the Converge La Union Cable Landing Station, which supports the Southeast Asia-Hainan-Hong Kong Express Cable System.

Most data centers in the Philippines are located near Manila, the nation's capital city, on the island of Luzon.
