Edge data center firm Duos has deployed more of its modules in the US.

Nasdaq-listed Duos Technologies Group, Inc. through its Duos Edge AI, Inc. data center subsidiary, this week announced its additional deployment in Texas as well as its expansion into the Illinois market.

Details on the Illinois deployment weren’t shared beyond the fact it was serving the “Greater Chicagoland” area. In Texas, the firm said it had deployed two further modules in Lubbock.

“Expanding within Texas and into the Illinois market is a meaningful milestone that reflects both execution discipline and rising demand for our Edge Data Center,” said Doug Recker, president of Duos and founder of Duos Edge AI. “We are building a scalable, repeatable deployment model that supports education, carriers, and enterprises with secure, low-latency infrastructure. These expansions align with our growth strategy and reinforce our confidence in continued momentum as we execute against our long-term guidance.”

To date, the firm has deployed modules in Texas around Amarillo, Victoria, Waco, Dumas, and Corpus Christi. The firm says its modules can offer 100kW per rack and can be deployed in 90 days.

Duos said the Chicagoland deployment represents the first of multiple planned Midwest installations. A November presentation from the company said it aimed to have 15 modules deployed by the end of 2025 and a total of 50 in 2026.

Founded in 2001 and based in Jacksonville, Florida, Duos offers vision-based technology solutions to automate inspections of trains, trucks, and automobiles while in motion. The company launched a new Edge unit last year and raised $2.2m in funding for the initial roll-out. Duos placed its first Edge facility at the Region 16 Education Service Center in Amarillo in September.
