Digital Realty has partnered with DXC for the deployment of an AI platform within Digital Realty's data centers.
The two companies will deploy the Dell AI Factory within Digital Realty's data centers, including Dell PowerEdge servers, the Dell AI Data Platform, and Dell networking solution, which will be integrated with Digital Realty's PlatformDigital offering.
DXC, Dell, and Digital Realty have developed a library of AI use-cases that would be suited to the new offering.
The solution was planned, implemented, and operationalized by DXC.
"AI success requires more than infrastructure; it demands the right people, processes, and technology," said Holland Barry, global field chief technology officer at DXC Technology. "Together with Dell's validated designs and Digital Realty's infrastructure, DXC brings implementation and secure end-to-end management services that help enterprises turn AI ambition into business outcomes, faster and with greater impact."
"AI is transforming how organizations operate and innovate, but realizing its full potential requires infrastructure, strategy, and operational expertise to work together seamlessly," added Colin McLean, chief revenue officer, Digital Realty. "Our collaboration with Dell and DXC helps customers solve real problems, move faster, and scale AI initiatives more securely – helping bring actionable intelligence directly to their data and business operations."
The extent of the deployment, including which Digital Realty data centers will host the Dell AI Factory offering, has not been shared.
DXC is an American IT services and consulting company that was founded in 2017 when HPE spun off its services division and merged it with another vendor, CSC. It provides a wide range of IT services, including managed infrastructure. In 2024, the company sold several of its data centers, including those in Texas and Michigan in the US, and Brazil. Kyndryl and Apollo Global were previously reported to be considering buying DXC.
