DCProfessional Development (DCPro), the training and certification of DatacenterDynamics, has partnered with the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) to provide a 16-part Certificate of Mission Critical Infrastructure online learning course.

The foundation course is for engineers who want to learn basic concepts, as well as for those looking to focus on an advanced level of facilities management methods in sessions led by DCPro’s recognized industry educators.

NYIT said it will feature the non-credit-bearing courses among the professional development courses it offers.

Students who successfully complete the course requirements and online examinations will earn a certificate of completion from DCPro and NYIT- “Foundations of Mission Critical Infrastructure".

DCPro said its courses are endorsed through numerous nationally and internationally recognized professional bodies, including the IEEW, the American Institute of Architects, NCEES, the BCS, Engineers Australia, BICSI and CITREP.

DCProfessional’s managing director Jason Velody said: “Online education and partnerships like this bring opportunities to students in a global data center market.”
