A data center property is up for sale in Topeka, Kansas.
Colliers is listing 400 SE Jefferson Street in Topeka for sale for an undisclosed price.
Sat on less than an acre in Shawnee County, the 16,350 sq ft (1,520 sq m) building comprises a 10,500 sq ft (975 sq m) data center and 5,850 sq ft (545 sq m) office area.
The single-story facility was built in 1964 with “extensive renovations” in 2001 and 2012.
The site is a data center for IT Services and consulting firm ISG Technology. Acquired by Twin Valley in 2011, ISG offers hosting, backup, networking, IT maintenance, cybersecurity, and VoIP services.
The company announced plans to develop a new data center in Topeka back in 2012 for a 2013 launch. At the time it was ISG’s fourth data center, following sites in Columbia, Missouri; Wichita, Kansas; and Kansas City.
CloudandLocation.com suggests the site was previously owned and operated by QTS before being sold to ISG. It's unclear if and when ISG exited the facility.
