A data center and office site previously operated by Intercontinental Exchange is up for sale or lease in Boxborough, Massachusetts.
Via LoopNet, Fieldstone Commercial Properties is offering 60 Codman Hill Road as for sale or lease. A list price wasn’t included.
Set on 9 acres in Middlesex County, the two-story property spans 100,260 sq ft (9,315 sqm). It features two data halls, a NOC, a communications room, and three UPS rooms.
Built in 1986, the site was once home to Cereva Networks, which offered a system combining storage networking boxes with storage array disks. The company went bust in 2002.
The site was later leased to financial market data provider Interactive Data Corp, and then Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) after the former was acquired in 2015. According to SEC filings, ICE was leasing 60 Codman Hill until 2019.
A 2014 report said Colliers had arranged $12.05 million in financing for real estate firm Atlantic Tambone to refinance debt on the property and the neighboring 70 Codman Hill. At the time 60 Codman was described as Interactive Data Corp’s US east coast data center.
The Stubblebine Company was offering the vacant facility for sale in 2022.
Boxborough’s government website notes Concord Property Management filed to demolish the property that same year and developed a single-story industrial warehouse building. Documents note the site had been vacant for around two years.
