Cyprus' IPTP Networks has announced its involvement in a Vietnamese data center.

The AIDC DeCenter will be located in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, which is situated in the eponymous central Vietnamese city.

According to Danang News, the facility will be built in phases. The first, costing $20m out of a total $200m investment, will offer 10MW of capacity. At full buildout, the facility will span 10,000 sqm (107,639 sq ft).

Construction is set to begin Q4 2025, with the facility estimated to be operational by late 2027.

In a LinkedIn post, IPTP noted that it would launch together with DeCenter AI, an AI Cloud company formed as a joint effort between IPTP itself and MCB Ventures, a Thai multinational investment fund.

IPTP was founded by Vladimir Kangin in 1996 as a Cypriot ISP. According to the company’s website, it made its first foray into Vietnam in 2018.

Vietnam is a growing data center market. It relaxed its laws regarding foreign ownership of data centers in July 2024, removing the 49 percent foreign ownership cap.
