Coevolution (CoEvo) will deploy its AI Edge cloud infrastructure in Cologix's VAN3 data center in Vancouver, Canada.

CoEvo, through its GPU-as-a-Service offering, gives enterprises access to high-performance clusters designed for AI workloads. The company also offers Platform-as-a-Service solutions and a Model-as-a-Service layer.

“We selected Cologix for its robust colocation capabilities that meet the unique requirements of our North American and global clients," said Dong Wang, CEO, CoEvo. "This expanded deployment at VAN3 doubles our server capacity, providing rapid scalability and global GPUaaS access for Canadian, US, Japanese, and South Korean customers, empowering them to drive AI innovation without infrastructure limitations.”

Wang added that a pilot site in Canada is already serving a "US public company client," and that the company's clusters are managed by a "highly skilled in-house engineering team."

The VAN3 data center spans 42,000 sq ft (3,902 sqm), has 5MW of power capacity, and has high-capacity connectivity to more than 20 networks as well as direct access to public cloud onramps including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

“Expanding GPUaaS with CoEvo underscores Cologix’s commitment to powering AI-driven business growth in Canada,” said Sean Maskell, president and general manager, Cologix Canada. “VAN3’s advanced AI infrastructure empowers global businesses to leverage high-performance GPU computing to innovate and compete in an increasingly AI-centric world.”

Cologix has a portfolio of more than 40 "hyperscale Edge" data centers and interconnection hubs across 12 North American Markets. Earlier this year the company raised $1.5 billion in debt and equity funding to fund its growth plans, later buying 145 acres in Ohio for an 800MW data center campus.

CoEvo provides AI compute infrastructure. According to the company's website, it built the first AI private compute cluster in Canada and is looking to expand across North America and globally.
