CCEP is a combination of the three main bottling companies for the Coca-Cola Company in Western Europe and Asia Pacific.

The two companies have had a long-standing relationship, with Systal having supported CCEP for six years via a multi-partner agreement to develop a new manufacturing system and rationalize its supply chain.

The new partnership will give CCEP business continuity across its manufacturing and distribution network infrastructure and will enable Systal to continue CCEP's network transformation.

“We are thrilled to officially go live with our direct service as CCEP’s trusted technology services partner,” said Neil Wisbey, CIO at Systal. “Our team's agility and dedication to providing a higher value service delivery has been the bedrock of our CCEP partnership over the past six years. We are excited to continue supporting CCEP as they innovate and transform their critical network infrastructure."

Tim Davies, director of infrastructure and network services at CCEP said: “We are excited to partner with “Systal,” a company known for its expertise in Network infrastructure solutions. This contract will significantly enhance our operational efficiency and allow us to better serve our customers and stakeholders.”

Founded in 2008, Systal is a global managed network, cloud, and security specialist. The company manages technology services for enterprise businesses across more than 3,500 sites and in 93 countries.

CCEP part-owner The Coca-Cola Company signed a $1.1bn cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) services contract with Microsoft in April 2024.

That agreement will see Coca-Cola migrate all of its applications to Microsoft Azure. For the last year, the company has been using generative AI and has already been using Azure OpenAI service for its marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain business functions.
