The company last week announced it held the inaugural groundbreaking ceremony for its 1.2GW flagship data center campus.

Located in the San Marcos/New Braunfels area of Central Texas, the first 50MW phase of development is due to go live in Q4 2026.

San Marcos, in Hays County, is located between Austin and San Antonio.

The facility is set to rely on natural gas from pipeline operator Energy Transfer.

The company said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank our families, investors, partners, and vendors for helping us achieve this pivotal and monumental milestone in our quest to establish a global platform of AI/HDC-focused GigaCenters. We couldn't have got here without you!”

The company is also targeting a 200MW development in Oklahoma. The first 30MW phase is due to go live in Q4 2026.
