UK cloud computing firm Civo has launched a cloud GPU offering based on Nvidia A100 GPUs.

The GPUs will be available via Civo's London region. Customers will be able to access Nvidia A100 40GB, Nvidia A100 80GB, and Nvidia L40S GPUs for both compute and Kubernetes. The A100s will offer 312+ teraflops of FP16 performance, 1,248 Tensor cores, and 80GB of HBM2e memory.

While not currently available, users can reserve Nvidia H100s for the future.

The GPU cloud offering is designed to support high-demand workloads including machine learning, Large Language Models, and graphics rendering.

As the cloud partner of Deep Green, a company heating swimming pools with servers, Civo customers will be able to run their cloud GPU workloads on Deep Green servers with A100 GPUs while providing free heat to communities across the UK.

Civo is a cloud provider solely focused on Kubernetes. As well as Deep Green, the company has partnered with digital boiler provider Heata.

In April, the company shared that it would abolish all data egress fees for customers, unconditionally, following similar but more restricted announcements from the big three cloud providers: Google, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft.
