CenturyLink is expanding its CenturyLink Cloud network of public cloud data centers from nine to 13 locations within the first half of 2014.
Starting in March, it said customers will be able to deploy virtual resources in Santa Clara and Sterling in the US.
It expects by Q2 2014 locations in Paris and the London metro market will come online.
It said all of its CenturyLink Cloud services including HyperScale will be available in the new locations
Hyperscale is said to combine CenturyLink Cloud’s high-performance compute with 100% flash storage to deliver a superior experience for web-scale architectures built on Couchbase, MongoDB and other NoSQL technologies.
The company said this broad footprint offers more choice and flexibility for geo-targeted solutions and for boosting performance whilst ensuring data sovereignty.
It claims customers can also deploy advanced IT configurations through the interoperability of public cloud, colocation, managed services and network solutions.
