Data center services provider CBTS has opened a new facility in Lebanon, Ohio. The technology services division of the telecommunications company Cincinnati Bell plans to use the 25,000-square-foot data center to provide services to Fortune 1000 companies, according to a CBTS statement. The offerings include colocation, disaster recovery and managed services.
Through the company's fiber network, the data center is connected to its other five facilities in the greater Cincinnati area. The network can support real-time data center replication among facilities in the region for disaster recovery purposes. The Lebanon data center is located about 25 miles north of Cincinnati.
The company's other Ohio data centers are in Hamilton, Blue Ash, Mason and Cincinnati. It also operates two data centers in South Bend, Ky., and one each in Florence, Ky., Lombard, Ill., and Grand Rapids, Mich. CBTS's parent company Cincinnati Bell is headquartered in Cincinnati and provides telecom services to residential and business customers.
CBTS provides 100-percent uptime service agreements to its clients. The new facility has technicians and security officers on site around the clock.
