Cannon Technologies has added the T4 Data Campus model to its T4 Modular data center range.

The company says the new module offers a diverse range of configurations, including single or multi-floor levels, with Tier III or Tier IV resilience.

The power usage effectiveness (PUE) ratings were not specified but described as ‘low’ and it offers options for free cooling.

The default power density of the standard design block is 250kW but other options are available.

Data center managers can configure the T4 Data Campus from a menu that specifies the construction of the data halls, network operation centers, offices, entry systems, people traps and storage areas.

Other factors that can be pre-planned include stair and lift modules, application modules for security and the usual array of power and cooling modules needed for a data center blueprint.

The sub-modules of the Campus are designed to knit together into one cohesive aggregation.

These sub modules include a raised floor system, various rack options, cable raceway, free form pockets, within row cooling (WIRC) pockets and uninterruptible power supply, power distribution, cabling, fire suppression and lighting.

The systems also come with standard Canon free cooling chillers and WIRC units.

T4 Data Centre Manager software monitoring system comes with the modules.

Cannon Technologies head of T4 Data Centre Solutions Mark Hirst said: “The T4 Data Campus is perfect for those who want to grow their facility as required.

“This can be achieved without compromising on quality, reliability and ease of use.”
