Mexican IT firm Atalait is to expand its data center in Metepec, Mexico.
The company has announced plans to invest $100 million expanding the site, located in Mexico State. The initiative aims to double the capacity of the data center and significantly expand its offerings.
Leonardo Rodríguez, vice chairman of Aktiva Capital and vice president of Atalait, said: “The expansion of our data center is a direct response to the growing demand for robust technological solutions in Mexico. Our goal is to provide the necessary infrastructure so that companies and institutions can continue their modernization and digital transformation.”
Owned by Aktiva Capital, Atalait offers cybersecurity, business continuity, DevOps, cloud, and data center services.
“We are excited to expand our data center in Metepec, a key step to strengthen our presence in Mexico. This investment reflects our firm commitment to the technological development of the country, fostering innovation and contributing to the growth of the digital economy,” added Gastón Sosa de la Torre, chairman of the board of directors of Atalait and Grupo Aktiva Capital.
