Amazon Web Services (AWS) has released its fully managed desktop computing service for cloud into Europe.

Amazon WorkSpaces is available now from its EU (Ireland) region.

The service was released to the US-East-1 (N.Virginia) and US-West-2 (Oregon) AWS regions in March.

Amazon Workspaces allows users to provision cloud-based desktops and lets endusers access documents, applications and resources remotely through various devices including laptops, iPad, Kindle Fire or Android tablets.

The service can also be integrated with Microsoft’s corporate Active Directory, so users can continue with existing enterprise credentials to access company resources.
