Backed by CBRE Investment Management, Accelerate owns and manages real estate tied to critical infrastructure sites across a number of sectors.

Brennan Potts, founder and CEO of Accelerate, said the company’s strategy is built on acquiring infrastructure sites that “underpin digital connectivity, renewable energy, and mobility, and scaling them through disciplined execution.”

The fundraising includes investments from funds managed by CBRE Investment Management, alongside new investment from the UAE's sovereign wealth fund, the Mubadala Investment Company, the Australian Retirement Trust, and others.

The total equity committed to Accelerate’s platform is now $1.26 billion, according to the company.

“This capital reflects deep alignment with long-term institutional partners who understand the durability of infrastructure cash flows,” said Potts.

“Reaching $1.26 billion in capital commitments gives us the scale and capital certainty to continue to pursue the most compelling infrastructure opportunities.”

CBRE Investment Management and Accelerate began acquiring infrastructure sites in 2022. It claims it has over 400 infrastructure sites under digital, renewable, and transportation infrastructure assets across the 47 states in the US.
