Galician operator A Túa Xanela has become a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) after signing an agreement with Grupo Aire.

As reported by Redes & Telecom, Grupo Aire will support A Túa Xanela's efforts to provide mobile services.

The alliance includes voice, data, CRM, billing, and reporting, with advanced functionalities such as eSIM and competitive roaming, facilitating a quick start-up and commercial scalability.

Grupo Aire is an MVNO enabler (MVNE), noting on its website that it helps companies create their own MVNO without requiring their own infrastructure or technical resources.

Aire Networks has its own core network, a consolidated technological infrastructure, and offers operators a turnkey product to market mobile telephony services quickly and easily.

A Túa Xanela is a company founded in 2021 with the purpose of improving connectivity in Galicia, offering solutions for rural areas and areas without fiber coverage through satellite technologies.

Its partnership with Grupo Aire will support the company's aims to boost connectivity and mobile services throughout Galicia with a modern and efficient technological infrastructure.

As such, A Túa Xanela will have its own IMSIs (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), which have been sub-assigned by Aire Networks from the range allocated by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union) for new MVNOs.
