With supply in primary markets increasing up to 19% YoY, vacancy rates at an all-time low, and huge demand-growth in emerging markets, it is perhaps no surprise to see the industry’s original and largest event series grow alongside the digital economy it supports.

The series was developed to help buyers and sellers design, build, and operate next-generation data centers by creating an event experience aligned to modern-day buyer-journeys and customer needs. It focuses on creating high-intent, meaningful connections and personalized learning programs in relaxed networking environments. This outcome-driven approach around networking and learning saw attendance across the series grow over 40% in 2023 with 24,000 connections created, over $200 billion dollars of spend identified, and a net-promoter score of +42 from visitors and sponsors.

As such, we are delighted to announce an expanded schedule for 2024. The schedule includes a new destination event in Bali to serve buyers and sellers across Asia-Pacific, as well as expanded events in exciting new venues in London and Cancun, after sell-out shows in 2023.

DCD>Connect comes to Asia-Pacific

DCD has long served the Asia-Pacific market with its online coverage, event series, and L&D portfolio. The Singapore office manages training programs for over 1,000 engineers every year to help develop local and regional talent. Announcing the schedule, Live Events Director Rebecca Davison highlighted that ‘with 700,000 active users of DCD’s website across Asia-Pacific, we are delighted to be bringing this innovative event model to Bali.

‘This launch creates a true destination event experience to support an exciting market and facilitate new partnerships and collaboration needed for the journey ahead.’

Exciting growth plans in London, Cancun & Beyond

Following sell-out shows in 2023, expanded and extended events are already planned for 2024 including exciting new venues for DCD>Connect Cancun and DCD>Connect London. Jose Friebel, Managing Director, DCD International said: ‘After two sold-out shows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun, our new home at the Moon Palace allows us to bring more VIPs to the event and ensure even better ROI for our partners. I look forward to the continued development and growth of the event as we introduce greater personalization, more learning programs, and networking activities that foster new connections and peer exchange.’

Head of Global Sales, Erica Baeta highlighted that ‘the updated 2024 schedule reflects DCD’s continued commitment to respond to customer demand, with an emphasis on transparency, service and ROI.’
