5G is calling: how is ultra-low latency demand from core to edge impacting the network?
With 5G on the horizon, both the telecom-edge and hyperscale-core are increasingly converging to deliver edge computing and unpick the opportunity to leverage existing assets and move up the value chain. With partnerships between the two entities now perceived as inevitable, we ask how this new-found convergence, increasing demand and integration with 5G is poised to impact the network.
Our panel of experts will discuss their vision of how the network needs to transform in order to accelerate the proliferation of edge. What hardware and software need to be upgraded and even invented, and what might the realistic stages of evolution be?
This panel will be followed immediately by a roundtable discussion:
How are you transforming your network infrastructure?
We invite you to join this roundtable which will start immediately after the panel so we can continue the conversation, debate some of the issues raised, and where you can share your own thoughts and insights, and also find potential collaborators.
