The chip industry is running into limits of all scaling laws (Moore’s and Dennard’s). A new generation of chips and architectures with superior performance and monetization per VM is required. Those new architectures will include higher densities systems that will have higher power and cooling demand. Liquid cooling technology is one of the pillars for unlocking next generation HW.

This presentation will share an overview of the technology from a cloud point of view. It will also discuss the need for supporting liquid cooling technology and its supply chain.
