Digital twins: The key to developing robust infrastructure in mission critical applications
This episode is now available to stream on-demand using the form below.
As data center outages continue to increase in frequency and impact year-on-year, the pressure is on for operators to innovate the way they manage their facilities to maximise uptime. The urgent need to achieve this has given rise to the development of digital twins which emulate physical sites, providing models for operators to address issues and test their facilities in a safe and risk free way. However, with so many different ways to develop these pioneering models, and no industry standards for ‘best practice’, how do data centers begin developing digital twins, especially given their huge requirements for data?
This panel brings together industry leaders who are disrupting the way data centers are operated, to shed light on how they are building their digital twins whilst overcoming challenges along the way. These expert speakers will highlight the design considerations for these systems, and shed light on how once the necessary data is acquired, they merge it with real time input feeds to give accurate insights into operational activities such as demand scenarios and environmental impacts. Critically this episode will analyse the benefits digital twins can bring to legacy data centers, providing tangible insights to the cost, time and emissions savings, whilst also exploring how these innovative systems can support trends such as the growth of HPC.
