The data center community needs a new generation, ready to pick up the baton and take the sector on towards undreamt-of achievements. Past winners have gone on to build successful careers while raising the profile of the companies that employ them.

New technologies and new platforms require new skills, so this year we are opening up this category to the whole mission critical “stack”, to include not only M&E but also systems, architecture and software professionals.

Judges will be looking for a track record of achievement in project leadership and delivery and a higher profile in our industry than their tender years would suggest.

Eligibility

• To qualify the engineer should be aged 30 years or under at 1st December 2019 and actively involved in data center design and/or operation at end-user, services or consultant level.
• Entrants should be able to demonstrate their career path  in Engineering or an engineering-based discipline or in a discipline relevant to data center systems, IT architecture and software systems.

2019 Finalists
