According to Scobleizer, we are going to see a lot more Nvidia in our data centers

In this video Robert Scoble, a prominent futurist who used to engage audiences on behalf of Microsoft and Rackspace, talks about the changes in the data center caused by trends like the Internet of Things, augmented reality and VR video.

Scoble predicts the rise of the GPUs as a compute platform, driven by new types of workloads that involve processing of huge quantities of visual information.

The conversation took place at the DCD Enterprise event in New York, where Scoble noted the audience understood the incoming data tsunami much better than your average IT crowd.
