"The key drivers for the cover board selection were fire and puncture resistance and Factory Mutual (FM) approval for the whole roof assembly. The change was rooted in the considerable cost savings that could be achieved with DensDeck Prime Roof Boards (a glass mat gypsum based board) compared to the original cementitious cover boards by a competitor. We achieved a reduction of over €3 per square meter."
