Shannon Wojcik
Energy Program Manager, Energy & Sustainability, MicrosoftShannon Wojcik is a Senior Program Manager on the Energy and Sustainability team in Microsoft’s Cloud Operations and Innovation organization, and has been at this position for five years. At Microsoft, Shannon is responsible for securing power infrastructure to the company’s datacenter deployments in the Nordics. Shannon also leads work developing new and innovative programs aimed at meeting the company’s ambitious sustainability and clean energy goals and making Microsoft’s datacenters the most sustainable in the world, including developing Microsoft’s datacenter waste heat recovery program, and leading the collaboration with Fortum in Finland to enable the world’s largest datacenter heat recovery project for community district heating. Prior to joining the Microsoft team, Shannon received her Master’s in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, focusing her studies on renewable energy integration, energy markets, and optimization of energy systems.
