CMC Corporation has officially launched the tender for the design consulting package of the CMC hyperscale data center project, located at Lot T4-3, D2 Road, Saigon Hi-Tech Park, Tang Nhon Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The project is positioned as a next-generation digital infrastructure platform designed to meet rising demand for AI, cloud, big data, cybersecurity, and high-performance computing. With a total investment of more than US $250 million, CMC hyperscale data center is planned as a hyperscale data center with an initial design capacity of 30MW and scalability to 120MW in future phases.

The development follows a green data center approach, prioritizing energy-efficient solutions while integrating digital twin capabilities for real-time simulation, monitoring, and operational optimization. It is expected to become an important infrastructure component in CMC’s strategy to expand its data, cloud, and AI capabilities in the coming years.

As part of the project rollout, CMC is inviting international consulting firms and consulting consortiums with proven capabilities and experience to participate in the design consulting package, particularly those that have previously advised on hyperscale data center projects of similar or larger capacity.

The tender is funded by private capital and will be conducted through open competitive bidding under a one-stage, two-envelope method.

Firms with proven experience in hyperscale data center architecture, mission-critical MEP systems, energy efficiency optimization, infrastructure scalability, and AI-ready design will have the opportunity to contribute from the early stage of one of CMC’s major digital infrastructure developments in Vietnam.
