US clean energy company Zeo Energy Corp has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AI data center company Creekstone Energy to develop 280MW of solar and storage capacity for Creekstone’s data center campus in Millard County, Utah.
The non-binding MoU will supply power to Creekstone’s “Gigasite,” where the developer is constructing what could be one of the largest AI data center campuses in the US. The campus is expected to have a capacity of up to 10GW and will leverage a range of energy resources to power the infrastructure.
Creekstone broke ground on the site in December 2025 and plans to provide more than 300MW of gas-fired power to customers in the first half of 2027. The company said it intends to scale the campus to multiple gigawatts over time.
The data center has already secured an initial customer, with Blue Sky AI Inc allocated up to 50MW as part of the early development phase.
Under the terms of the MoU, Zeo has commenced a pre-feasibility study to determine the most energy- and cost-efficient configuration of solar generation and long-duration storage for the site. The company said its engineering team is evaluating thermal and chemical storage approaches designed to firm intermittent solar output into dispatchable, baseload-style power.
“AI workloads are driving unprecedented demand for power. At Creekstone, we plan to deliver more than 600MW of baseload power to our Gigasite customers in 2027 in Phase 1 of our project. Our collaboration with Zeo reflects the market urgency of using all available energy sources to rapidly provide baseload power,” Ray Conley, CEO of Creekstone Energy, said. “With solar power and Zeo’s long-duration energy storage solution, we plan to significantly expand the amount of clean power we offer our hyperscalers and artificial intelligence data center customers.”
The campus is also expected to deploy on-site nuclear power to support its operations. In December, it inked a deal with EnergySolutions to evaluate the addition of at least 2 GW of next-generation nuclear power to the site, with a potential operational timeframe of 2030–2035.
The partnership follows Zeo’s August 2025 acquisition of Heliogen, which added long-duration energy generation and storage capabilities to its portfolio.

Our MOU with Creekstone is a milestone in this effort, and we are in discussions with several other projects that we believe can benefit from our clean baseload power solutions,” said Tim Bridgewater, CEO of Zeo.
Based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Zeo primarily focuses on solar and energy storage system development. To date, the company has installed more than 70,000 residential solar systems.
