Yahoo is investing $100 million in a Nebraska data center.
Earlier this year Yahoo confirmed that it had spent $15 million on the housing for the data center. The attraction of the site included tax breaks from the state government.
Under the agreement Yahoo has committed to at least a $100 million investment and the creation of 100 jobs.
The news came as Yahoo announced it was cutting around 1,500 jobs but the company described the data center investment as a "mission critical facility.
The site is in La Vista, near the state capital of Omaha.
