Vultr has launched a "high-performance cloud compute" offering specifically for the public sector.

The offering will give public sector organizations access to AMD and Nvidia GPUs while meeting sovereignty requirements and with "full compliance" coverage, including GDPR, DORA, HIPAA, and SOC 2.

The public sector cloud is available across six continents and 32 data center regions.

Users can select where their deployment is based to meet data residency controls.

Vultr is also working with Rancher Government Solutions - a company that provides Kubernetes and container management to the US government - on the solution.

Vultr describes itself as the largest privately-held cloud infrastructure company.

The company made the AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs generally available via its platform in September 2025. Earlier this year, Vultr secured $329 million in credit financing to help further expand its AI infrastructure and cloud computing platform.
