Tower infrastructure company Verta Wireless has acquired Arcadia Towers.

In an announcement last week, Verta stated that the acquisition includes Arcadia's 25 existing towers, "hundreds of strategic controlled properties," plus a "deep pipeline of new sites under development to Verta."

Financial terms were not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Arcadia's employees will join the Verta workforce and will remain at Arcadia's Cincinnati office.

“We are looking forward to adding pole development expertise to our already strong tower offering, providing a broad range of coverage solutions to our carrier customers," said Johnston.

Verta develops, owns, and operates tower and pole infrastructure purpose-built for wireless carrier colocation.

The company owns more than 130 towers across several states in the US, including Arizona, California, Colorado, and Florida.

Beyond towers, Verta also develops and operates commercialized dark fiber by leasing capacity to ISPs, wireless carriers, and enterprises in an open-access network.

Arcadia was founded in 2005 by co-founder and CEO Sam Johnston.
