UTS announced its plans to expand the Business Cooperation Contracts (BCCs) current international long distance VOIP service offering into other value-added telecommunications services. UTS and its partners will launch a state-of-the-art data center facility in Ho Chi Minh City by the third quarter of 2007. The data center will be aimed at the growing number of multinational companies entering the country, as well as local enterprises demanding reliable and secure services for their mission critical information technology needs.
Additional world class data centers will be launched in 2007 and 2008 in Ho Chi Minh City and other major urban centers, including Hanoi. The data centers will feature a physical infrastructure that replicates international industry-leading standards for power availability, high-performance security and environmental control. We will invest in power capabilities that will support blade technologies and other high power density uses,' said Zohar Loshitzer, president and CEO of UTS
