Montgomery Westland is expanding its data storage operations with the construction of a new 100,000 square foot datacenter in Houston.
Initially constructed by Westland Oil, the 38,000 square foot bunker is fifty feet underground, and was converted to a datacenter in 2004.
The facility cleans and backs up electricity with UPS and has a fuel reserve of 57,000 gallons that can provide power for more than 40 days.
