UK hosting firm Easily suffered an outage just before the weekend due to a "major" coolant leak at its third-party data center.

On Friday afternoon the company said its Easily, Speednames, and Adicio services were brought down due to an outage at its third-party facility.

“A major coolant leakage led to a complete server shutdown and an evacuation of staff for health and safety reasons,” the company said.

Easily said the incident lasted approximately 12 hours. The issue was resolved once cooling systems were restored, and its services are now back online and working.

Easily is a UK-based domain name and web hosting company and part of the CSC Group. The company doesn’t share on its site where its data center(s) is located nor the provider it uses, though one online user review suggests it has a facility in London.
