The Planet, the world's largest privately held dedicated hosting company, has announced data center expansions in both its Dallas and Houston operations. The additions, 25,000 square feet in total, bring the company's total data center footprint to 175,000 square feet. Through the end of 2007, the company plans data center additions that will bring the total to 215,000 square feet. Approximately 60 percent of the space is located in Dallas, with the remainder in Houston.
