Terremark has made record bookings for the quarter ending 30 June, with $57.9 million of new annual contracts signed.

The news follows Terremark's announcement that it made $79 million in the same quarter.

It is a 20 percent year-on-year increase for the IT infrastructure services company, whcih also raised its EBITDA to $19.2 million.

In total, Terremark's collocation space use increased to 30.3 percent up to 30 June following a 29 percent increase measured at 31 March this year. Its use of built-out space also increased to 54.9 percent in June, following March's 54.4 percent rise, according to Terremark's financial reports.

Terremark made a number of announcements during the first quarter ÔÇô including the signing of Verizon Business, the launch of its NAP of Amsterdam, a collocation center inside Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
