Data center provider Telehouse America announced availability of additional power and colocation space at two of its New York State facilities. The company said it had "reserved" more data center capacity at 25 Broadway in New York City and at 7 Teleport Dr. in Staten Island, targeting clients that need access to multiple service providers and low-latency connectivity.

Both sites are carrier-neutral and offer interconnection options within the facilities, as well as interconnectivity with other carrier hotels in the New York metropolitan area, including 60 Hudson St. and 111 Eighth Ave.

Telehouse offers Internet exchange services through its New York International Internet Exchange platform, or NYIIX. About 120 participants are currently exchanging traffic at the interconnection point, with peak rates sometimes reaching more than 80 Gb per second.
