Telehouse has launched a new data center at one of its campuses around Paris, France.

“After more than a year of major works for a total investment of €250 million ($261.7m), Telehouse France opens today the doors of its new data center on the campus Telehouse Paris Magny!” the company said on LinkedIn this week.

The company broke ground on the second data center at the campus site in October 2022 and expected construction to take 12 months.

Located on a former EADS military site, the new Magny 2 facility will provide 12,000 sqm (129,150 sq ft) of IT floor space, and 18MW of capacity across five data halls.

Established in 1988 and owned by Japanese telco KDDI, Telehouse has operations in 15 cities globally, including in the US, UK, France, Germany, China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.
