A UK organization focused on reduction of carbon emissions by businesses has issued European data center service provider TelecityGroup a certification for efforts it has made to cut the amount of CO2 its operations are responsible for emitting.
The non-profit called Carbon Trust Standard Company awarded TelecityGroup with its Carbon Trust Standard certificate for successfully demonstrating carbon-efficiency improvements from January 2007 through December 2009, according to a TelecityGroup news release.
"Being certified with the Carbon Trust Standard is proof that an organization has taken genuine action to reduce its impact on climate change by cutting its carbon emissions," the trust
