Sabey Corporation has broken ground at part of its 30-acre datacenter park it is developing near Pangborn Memorial Airport. The facility should be completed and occupied by the end of the year of early 2009.
In December 2007, the Douglas County PUD in December completed a power substation near the site to supply the datacenter. Sabey will pay for about 80 percent of the substation's estimated $7.9 million cost, according to PUD general manager Bill Dobbins.
According to Sabey, T-Mobile will occupy 200,000 square feet, leaving another 180,000 square feet available for one or more additional tenants.
