UK-based data center design firm Sudlows has acquired cabling installation company Progressive Network Solutions for an undisclosed sum.
To accommodate the extra staff, Sudlows is currently looking to move into larger offices in the south of England, in addition to its existing Manchester headquarters.
“Progressive have an extremely successful track record in technical services and this acquisition represents the enhancement of our services in the southern region,” Sudlows MD John Collins said.
“The Progressive acquisition is part of our continued investment strategy to expand across the UK, in key national locations. Progressive’s Southern regional customers will extend our client base in the South and allow us to offer Sudlows wider services to these customers.”
Tony Shrier, Progressive’s MD and co-founder, added: “Sudlows management team and unique technical services will enable Progressive to provide all our clients the opportunity to access an enhanced infrastructure capability supported by Sudlows’ national coverage and award winning service.”
Progressive is currently based in Watford, Hertfordshire, and provides its technical installation services to businesses within the London, Home Counties, Thames Valley and Midlands areas.
Recent clients for Sudlows includes United Utilities, The Co-operative Group, Zen Internet and Daisy Group.
