EDS has announced that it received a rating of "strong positive for its Data Center Outsourcing in the July 26, 2006, Gartner MarketScope for Data Center Outsourcing, North America, 2006.
According to the report, the rating of "strong positive is a vendor that is a solid provider of strategic products, services or solutions. Gartner indicates current customers should continue to invest in a "strong positive" provider's services and potential customers should consider the vendor a strong, strategic choice.

The Gartner MarketScope analyzed the state of the data center outsourcing market in North America and evaluated 15 vendors with more than $50 million in annual revenue. Evaluation criteria included market understanding, vertical/industry strategy, innovation, product/service, overall visibility, customer experience and operations.
