A man has been hospitalized after a stabbing at a data center construction site in Sterling, Loudoun County, Virginia.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Loudoun County Fire and Rescue responded to the construction site at the 21000 block of Beaumeade Circle just after 9 a.m.

Deputies found one adult male with a stab wound; he was subsequently transferred to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

According to local reporting, the stabbing occurred after a dispute between two construction workers. Local police have located a person of interest and taken them into custody.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has advised the local populace to avoid the area.

Several data center operators have facilities under construction and operational in Beaumeade Circle, including H5, PowerHouse, Cloud HQ, and Equinix. DCD has reached out to local law enforcement for further information.
