A 16-year-old boy has died after falling from a cell tower in New York.
The New York Post reports that the boy, who has been identified as Timithee Englund, fell to his death on March 20.
According to police, Englund fell while taking photos from the top of the tower, located inside Bushwick Intel Park at North 10th Street and Kent Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene at 1.15pm on March. Englund was rushed to hospital, but died from injuries sustained in the fall.
The Daily Mail separately reported that Englund fell 15 feet (4.6 meters) from the tower while taking photos of New York's skyline. The tower is surrounded by concrete and a chain-link fence.
The New York Post noted that the tower is likely abandoned.
