Singapore Telecommunications will build a new state-of-the-art datacenter at Kim Chuan, equipped to deliver highly secure and reliable network infrastructure services.
The Kim Chuan Telecommunications Centre 2 (KCTC-2), expected to be completed in early 2010, will offer 150,000 square feet of datacenter space, making it one of the largest data centers in Singapore. With KCTC-2, SingTel expects to extend its current leadership in the datacenter industry and offer corporate customers the most innovative solutions.
SingTel sees the growth of higher performance computing, such as blade servers and the iN2015 government initiative, driving the demand for new datacenter facilities that can support next-generation infocomm requirements.
